亞臨界低溫萃取技術可以提取玫瑰鮮花和干花中的精油成分,其低溫萃取的特性,使揮發性精油成分損失小,熱敏性成分基本不變性,生產規模達到每天30t鮮花。亞臨界萃取得到的產品為淡黃色浸膏,經過脫蠟或分子蒸餾處理可進一步得到精油。

The extraction methods for rose essential oil include distillation, enfleurage (cold absorption), and subcritical extraction, among others.

Distillation: Due to its high processing temperature, distillation causes component denaturation and the loss of volatile compounds. This alters the oil's aroma, resulting in a product that lacks purity.

Enfleurage (Cold Absorption): This method suffers from low efficiency and high costs, making it less commonly used nowadays.

Subcritical Low-Temperature Extraction: This technology can extract essential oil components from both fresh and dried rose flowers. Its low-temperature extraction characteristic minimizes the loss of volatile oil constituents, and thermosensitive components largely retain their original state. The production scale reaches a daily processing capacity of 30 metric tons of fresh flowers. The product obtained through subcritical extraction is a pale yellow, wax-containing extract. This extract can be further processed via dewaxing or molecular distillation to yield the essential oil.
